Instructions For Use

Description

The adhesive suture retention device is a single use, disposable, sterile surgical device to be used with non-absorbable sutures. There are two strips per package. One or more strip(s) is/are to be used on each side of wound in order to retain percutaneous non-absorbable sutures.

ASRD
Clinical Benefits

Less Fragile Skin Tears

Simulated skin protected by an ARS Device can withstand over 200% more retention suture tension prior to failure than unprotected simulated skin.

No Skin Overgrowth

The ARS can be retained for up to two weeks to provide postoperative protection from skin tearing with zero skin over-growth.

Less Grafts & Second Intent Wounds

The ARS bolsters skin strength to enable use of a retention suture under high tension without skin ripping, enabling linear closure of the wound.
